M.Diet. | BHum.Nut.
Hi, I’m Jane, a dietitian committed to creating safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for people navigating eating, feeding, and mental health challenges. My path into dietetics has been shaped by more than twenty years of diverse professional experience and a lifelong passion for understanding people, supporting learning, and building confidence through connection.
I come to this work with lived experience of ADHD and autism, which helps inform my practice. It supports me to approach clients with respect for communication styles, sensory needs, and the many ways people move through the world. I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, and I value approaches that reduce pressure, honour autonomy, and build trust.
My research background includes work exploring eating-disorder-safe practices in healthcare and the impacts of weight stigma on young people and clinicians. These experiences strengthened my interest in compassionate, evidence-informed care and continue to guide how I support clients and their families.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, strength training, and open water swimming. Connection and authenticity matter to me, and I seek to bring those values into every relationship I build.
